FIRE Covers 181st Anniversary Celebration of Guanacaste Province

In a spectacle that reaffirmed the contributions of the culture of Guanacaste to the country of Costa Rica , several musical and cultural groups performed for the 181^st Anniversary of the Annexation of Guanacaste, a large province in the northwest part of the country.  Performers included Guadalupe Urbina, a well known singer in Costa Rica and throughout the Central American region, as well as other musicians who played the traditional marimba and other instruments, entertaining an enthusiastic audience with their artistic productions.  Also performing was the singer Hilda Giría of Cuba, accompanied by her musical group.
